Cybersecurity “In a Box” Programs

Our Cybersecurity “In a Box” programs are offered through partnerships with various State of New Hampshire departments, with the goal of streamlining the process of securing the infrastructure and services we rely on.

We currently offer three “In a Box” solutions:

How does it work?

  • 1. Apply

    Fill out the Qualification Application. The person best suited to complete this task will vary based on the organization and the grant program.

  • 2. Assess

    Work with OVW to provide technical information to prepare for the deploy.

  • 3. Deploy

    Support logistics on the deployment day and work with OVW to ensure a smooth transition.

  • 4. Train

    Participate in ongoing OVW cyberdefense trainings to successfully use and maintain the updated system.

.GOV "In a Box"

Through a partnership with the State of New Hampshire Department of Information Technology (DoIT), OVW is committed to migrating municipalities to a .GOV or NH.GOV domain of their choosing at no cost to them. OVW works with you, your IT provider or Managed Service Provider (MSP), to ensure a smooth and minimally disruptive migration over to your new .GOV domain.

Advantages of a .GOV domain:

  • Safeguards against public disinformation campaigns

  • Helps safeguard our election process

  • Makes it easy for the public to recognize official sources of information

Drinking Water Cybersecurity "In a Box"

Through a partnership with the State of New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (DES), OVW is committed to upgrading equipment for eligible municipality drinking water systems at no cost to you. OVW works with you and your SCADA Integrator, to ensure a smooth and minimally disruptive deployment and installment of your new hardware and software.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes! The form from DoIT is just an interest form and provides important information about the grant programs. However, in order to engage in grant services with our team, we still need you to apply to our program by submitting this simple form and answer some initial application questions to officially get you in our backlog.

  • Once you fill out the Application Request form, we'll email instructions for filling out the Qualification Application to determine if your organization is a candidate for the selected program. We also review your application for its risk profile as part of our process for triaging program engagement.

  • The average duration from kickoff to deployment date is 60 days, depending on how quickly your organization is able to move on scheduling, contract execution, and coordination required with any third-party technical partners.

  • The Qualification Team at Overwatch reviews every submission to ensure we have the information we need to begin delivering grant services, as well as understand your organization’s relative risk and complexity to serve. Depending on the status of active grant assessments and deployments, and schedule availability, it can take some time before we are able to reach back out to begin onboarding.
